HALOWEEN SUGAR COOKIES

SUGAR COOKIES
Takes about 1 hour, start to finish. 60 small cookies

Ingredients

8 tablespoons unsalted butter sofented

1 cup sugar

2 egg yolks

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1.5 cups all purpose flour

1 bag candy corns

Directions

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

In a large bowl mix butter and sugar until creamed, then add egg yolk, vanilla, baking powder and salt.  Once combined mix in flour

Place dough in fridge to chill for 15 minutes

Remove dough from fridge and roll into balls about the size of large marbles

Place on cookie sheet, making sure to leave some space between each one

Bake in oven for 10 minutes

Remove from oven and while still warm press 1 or 2 candy corns into cookies

Let cool on a rack and serve
