Cream of Pea Soup
Its an oldie but a goody
For the "white sauce" just use cream or if you want to cut the calories use half & half
Ingredients
2 cups boiled or canned peas
½ teaspoon sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
1 slice onion
2 cups thin white sauce
Directions
Simmer peas, sugar, salt, and onion in 1 ½ cups water 15 minutes.
Press through a sieve.
Add hot white sauce and mix well.
