EGG WHITE WRAPPED BRAT - THE FOOD DUDES
JONNY AND VINNY CREATED THIS DISH FOR CHI-TOWN'S ANNUAL BRAT DROP
Ingredients
1 brat
1/2 yellow onion sliced
4 eggs reserving only the whites
1 French roll
1 tablespoon grain mustard
2 tablespoons butter
Directions
In a pan over medium heat add 1 tablespoon of the butter and saute the Brat
Once the brat starts to get some color add the sliced onions
In another pan over medium/high heat add the remaining butter, once it has melted pour in the egg whites
Roll the whites in the pan so they cover the bottom, turn the heat down to low and let cook about 3 minutes
Halve the roll
Place the brat and onions in the center of the cooked egg white and roll out onto half the roll
Spread mustard over top of egg white brat roll and enjoy

I was able to do this recipe using only 1 pan because I don’t want to clean 2 pans for making 1 person’s meal. To do this you start the recipe normal but remove the brat from the pan when it’s done then pour the eggs over the onions to make kind of an omelet instead of an omelet. I also used 2 whole eggs instead of 4 whites.
