HOT GARLIC SHRIMP - CAROLYNN SPENCE
EXECUTIVE CHEF AT CHATEAU MARMONT COOKS UP SOME SPICY SHRIMP
Ingredients
20 cleaned 41 - 50 shrimp
1 tablespoon white wine
1 tablespoon brandy
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon marjarom
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon chives
2 tablespoons butter
4 pieces of toasted bread to garnish
Directions
Get a medium sized saute pan hot over medium high heat and add the olive oil
Then add the shrimp, saute for a minute and add the garlic
Just as the shrimp are starting to turn pink add the brandy and white wine -- let reduce for 1 minute
Add the fresh herbs, season with salt, pepper, chili flakes and add the butter
Once the butter is incorporated finish with the lemon juice
Serve in a shallow bowl with the toasted bread
