GINGER MAPLE WHIPPED YAMS
DR. MEG MAKES A DELICIOUS AND SIMPLE THANKSGIVING SIDE DISH
Ingredients
4 large chopped yams
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp fresh chopped ginger
1/4 tsp white pepper
4 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp fresh chopped ginger
1/4 tsp white pepper
4 tbsp maple syrup
Directions
Boil potatoes in water until tender. Save out about two cups of water from the pot. Put potatoes in a blender with ginger, pepper and maple syrup. Add water as needed to get the consistency you desire.
