more >Sweet tooth, we all have one in my family. We baked when we wanted to satisfy it, and no dessert ever lasted more than a day in our home. My Mom baked pies, crème caramel, chocolate mousse; my Dad baked one thing, oatmeal cookies. My sisters and I learned to cook and bake when we were kids. Mom taught us to make things by ourselves in the kitchen. I was six when I made either date squares or a cinnamon loaf almost weekly.
I find baking relaxing, it’s my passion not my profession. I bake when I have a house full of guests, a small dinner party, or over a hundred partygoers; there is always something sweet in the house. I exchange recipes with my sisters constantly, and I think we would all agree no meal is complete unless it ends with something sweet. < less
