@jackoncrack -- came very close to including Tasty Q based on a couple of exquisite rib tip lunches there. Hasn't been consistent though and my last visit was sub par -- BUT I also didn't want to say anything bad about the place because I love it -- so my default was to not include it. LA BBQ FESTIVAL VISITED AND REVISITED

I love JRs. And yes, they need to get better places. Some of them were just throw-aways. More places from out of town and some more of LA’s best.
